Bari Koral
We’ve previously professed our love for Bari Koral Family Rock Band, as well as Bari Koral herself. In the months since that post, we’ve heard her music in our house countless number of times, so much so that I now know almost every word to every song on both of her albums.
If you love Bari Koral too and want to make a music video with one of the songs from her latest album, Rock and Roll Garden, get to it! Bari Koral Family Rock Band has decided to “cast” 11 music videos – one for each song on the album. Grab your digital video camera (or anything that shoots video) and get moving! Shoot your kids dancing, playing, singing, acting out a song on the album, whatever. Upload the video and e-mail a link to barikoralband@aol.com and it may be included in their 11 music videos! Let us know if you do it and send us a link too, we’d love to see! I’m pretty sure my kids will be into this, so we’ll be sure to post our link as well right here.
This Saturday, January 30, Bari Koral Family Rock Band will also be involved in a benefit concert at Rodeo Bar to raise funds for kids in Haiti. This should be an amazing concert, featuring some of the best kid bands today, including Bari Koral, Jazz-A-Ma-Tazz, Rebecca Frezza, Mama Doni and Princess Katie & Racer Steve. A donation of $50 per family is suggested and 100% of the proceeds from the event will be donated to children in Haiti. Rodeo Bar is located at 375 Third Avenue @ 27th Street, NYC.
